Copyright Policy (DMCA)
Effective date: 2026-05-25 Designated agent: [not specified], [not specified] Postal address: [not specified]
[not specified] (the "Operator") respects intellectual property rights and expects users of ProGameInfo (the "Service") to do the same. This page describes the procedure for reporting alleged copyright infringement, including in the form of a notification under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent European rules (Directive (EU) 2019/790 and the e-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC).
1. Filing an infringement notice
You may file a notice using the online form at /legal/dmca (recommended) or by email to [not specified].
A complete notice must contain all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If the notice covers multiple works, you may submit a representative list.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient precision to allow us to locate it - typically a list of URLs on ProGameInfo.
- Your contact information: full legal name, postal address, telephone number, and a valid email address.
- A description of the basis on which you act: rightsholder, exclusive licensee, authorized representative, or attorney. If you act on behalf of another party, identify that party.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rightsholder.
- A good-faith statement that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the rightsholder, its agent, or the law.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name in the form qualifies as electronic signature).
Notices that omit any of the above will be returned without action.
Do not submit false notices. Knowingly false statements may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under section 512(f) of the DMCA and equivalent national law.
2. What happens after a complete notice is received
- Acknowledgment within 3 business days.
- Review by our designated agent. We may request additional information.
- Action:
- If the notice is complete and the claim appears valid, we remove or disable access to the material, typically within 24 to 72 hours.
- We notify the user who posted the material that the content has been removed and provide them with a copy of the notice.
- We log the takedown action in the user's account record.
- Repeat infringers: in line with section 512(i) of the DMCA, accounts that accumulate repeated, valid takedowns are subject to suspension or termination.
3. Counter-notice
If you are a user whose content has been removed and you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with [not specified]. A complete counter-notice must contain:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country of operation of the Operator and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or from that person's agent.
If we receive a complete counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order within 10 to 14 business days, we will restore the material.
4. Reports outside the scope of this Policy
This page covers copyright. Other types of report use different channels:
- Trademark infringement: submit through the DMCA form and indicate "trademark" as the rights basis. Include the registration number and class.
- Illegal content (CSAM, terrorism, doxxing, threats, malware): [not specified]. CSAM reports should also be forwarded to the relevant national authority. We are required to preserve evidence and to notify law enforcement.
- Privacy / data-protection requests about the user's own data: [not specified], or use the export and deletion tools at /account/privacy.
- Court orders and law-enforcement requests: [not specified].
- General community-guidelines violations: use the in-app report buttons and see Community Rules.
5. Retention and transparency
We retain copies of all infringement notices and counter-notices, together with the action taken and the related correspondence, for two years after resolution. Aggregated counts are published in our annual transparency report at [not specified].
